- Review common causes of peri-implant disease
- Discuss the key requirements for achieving and maintaining
peri-implant health - Surgical protocol for the management of advanced peri-implant defects
Dr. Siavash Hassanpour obtained his Bachelor of Science in molecular biology from the University of Toronto and completed his first Master of Science in bone biology in the Matrix Dynamics Group at the University of Toronto. Dr. Hassanpour completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Periodontology specialty training at the University of Toronto. During his specialty training, he obtained his second Master of Science degree in innate immunology.
Dr. Hassanpour is a licensed and a board-certified periodontist and runs a practice limited to Periodontology and Implantology in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Hassanpour is a didactic and part time clinical instructor at the University of Toronto’s Graduate and Undergraduate Periodontology clinics. Dr. Hassanpour is the past presidents of the Ontario Society of Periodontology and the Toronto Central Dental Society.
When not at the office, Dr. Hassanpour enjoys spending time with wife Kelley, 8-year-old son Kyan, and Chocolate Lab Charlie. He is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time outdoors.
